In June I will celebrate my birthday by asking my friends to donate to Charity:Water or Donor's Choose.​

Almost a billion people live without clean drinking water. We call this the water crisis. It's a crisis because it only starts with water -- but water affects everything in life. Health. Education. Food security. And the lives of women and children, especially. We can end the water crisis in our lifetime.

DonorsChoose.org is an online charity that makes it easy for anyone to help students in need. We engage the public in public schools by giving people a simple, accountable and personal way to address educational inequity. We envision a nation where children in every community have the tools and experiences needed for an excellent education.
